Ready to run? Nike engineered the Air Zoom unit in the new Superfly 10 Elite to meet the exact specifications of world-class athletes. This burst of air in the cleats provides the propulsive feel you need to break through the defense and outrun the competition. Meet the most responsive Mercurial.
The wave-like traction pattern features a series of cascading studs, built to engage more surface area of the Air Zoom unit, while providing the necessary amount of grip. In terms of stud height, the largest stud is the same height as Nike’s more traditional middle studs, which helps maintain traction. Evolved chevron and blade studs pair perfectly with the wave-like traction for acceleration, deceleration, and all kinds of quick cuts.
Now occupying even more surface area on the cleat, Nike Gripknit is the sticky material that provides better touch to the ball when dribbling at high speeds or going for goal. Plus, it molds to the shape of your foot and gives you equal grip regardless of weather conditions for a sculpted, track spike-inspired fit. Micromolding texture works with the Gripknit to help form to your foot.
Tying it all together with a quintessential snug fit is the full Flyknit upper, which is engineered for speed. Atomknit, a lightweight and strong Flyknit, on the sides provides support and lessens weight. These materials combine to create the thinnest Mercurial upper to date.
